Shrewsbury Solar Park
Mespil Solar developed and constructed this 10 Mw project on 56 acres of farmland. The project which was completed in September 2014 was the first solar park to be completed in Shropshire. On completion, the project was sold to Foresight Group.

Shropshire Solar Park
Mespil Solar designed, developed and constructed this 8 Mw project on 50 acres of farmland. The site was developed adjacent to an existing solar park so we had to work closely with the local community and planning office to ensure that we did not receive any objections to the development. On completion, the project was independently assessed by Sgurr Energy who gave it the highest Performance Rating (PR) that they had ever given a site in the UK. This high PR was achieved through the careful design of the park to allow for site specific issues and the use of high quality equipment (panels, inverters and component parts). The project was completed in March 2015 and sold to Foresight Group.
